Volleyball NT is excited to announce we were successful in obtaining a grant to provide important mental health first aid training for our members, family and friends.
If you’re a parent or teacher or work with young people in any other capacity, adolescent mental health is a global issue and is the leading cause of death for young people, with 1 in 4 young people experiencing a mental health problem.
75% of adults who experience mental illness had their first episode as an adolescent, so it makes sense to get in early and support young people.
We are offering training in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
